Laurie Kitts DetweilerLAURIE KITTS DETWEILER  EASTBROOK HIGH SCHOOL - 1999  Laurie Kitts started her basketball career in 6th grade at the Elks hoop shoot free throw contest where she finished 3rd in the state. Coached by Tom Wilson at Eastbrook, Laurie was a four-year letter winner and first team all-state as a senior. She was a four-time Grant County Player of the year and team MVP. Laurie helped lead Eastbrook to three-straight conference championships and averaged 27.5 points and 11.7 rebounds her senior season. Laurie ended her career as the all-time leading scorer in Girls Grant County basketball with 1,886 career points.  Laurie went on to play for Ball State and now resides in Goshen with her husband, Lane, along with their twin boys, Ethan and Aidan. Laurie works in nuclear medicine at Goshen Hospital and in her free time coaches her boys youth travel basketball team.
