Jeff McPhearson
Marion High School

JEFF McPHERSON
Jeff graduated from
Marion HS in 1991 and Butler University in 1995. He played both football and
basketball in high school. As
quarterback he led the Giants to 2 state championship games. Jeff held several football records including
Most Career TD Passes Thrown 56 and Most Career Passing Yardage – 5,599. Jeff was AP First Team All State Quarterback
– 1990 and played in Indiana High School All Star Football Classic 1991.
Jeff received a
football scholarship to the University of Indianapolis where he played 2
years. He then transferred to Butler
University, where, after being redshirted his junior year, he chose to return
to Marion High School to work with the offense while completing his marketing
degree. He was selected as “Marion
Chronicle-Tribune” All-Time Quarterback 8-25-2002.
By his senior year,
Jeff had mastered the football playbook and had developed into an all-state
signal caller. He was a leader who knew
how to take charge. This skill has
carried over into his business career and his family life.
Jeff is currently Vice
President – Sales and Marketing for Irving Materials, Inc. He works with IMI Division Presidents,
E&B Paving Specialties and their respective sales organizations directing
sales and marketing strategies for the entire Group of Companies. Jeff and his wife Kassy are active members of
St. Pius X Catholic Church where they continue to work in their children’s
sports and academic programs.
Jeff’s four children
are following their parents’ example as they continue their academic and
athletic careers. Jeff has shown through his athletics, his business career,
and his family life that he is a leader and is truly deserving of being a
member of the Grant County Sports Hall of Fame.
