Janna (Bragg) Warren


Janna (Bragg) WarrenJanna (Bragg) Warren earned varsity letters in four different sports during her outstanding career at Eastbrook High School.

She earned four letters in basketball, her best sport. She also earned four letters in track and field. Janna was All-Conference in volleyball and a semi-state finalist her senior year. She also lettered as a senior in cross country.

Bragg played a big role on the Eastbrook basketball team which went 76-11 over four seasons. Eastbrook was undefeated during the regular season both her junior and senior years. The Panthers were state finalists in 1984. Janna scored 1,578 career points for an average of 18.1 per game. She was an Indiana All-Star, Converse All-American, and Carnation All-American. She was the 1984 Sports Hotline Grant County Co-Athlete of the Year with teammate Dawn Davenport.

Bragg went to the University of Florida where she had an outstanding basketball career. She was a three year starter scoring 1,098 career points. Janna averaged 15.9 points one season, ranking her ninth in the SEC. She shot .788 from the free throw line and was second in the SEC. Bragg was twice named the SEC Player of the Week and All-SEC Honorable Mention. Her career high was 29 against then national champion, Tennessee. She was named to the All- Tourney team in four different tournaments. Janna is currently the Financial Aid Coordinator at West Virginia Junior College.
