2009 Madison-Grant Argylls Softball2009 MADISON GRANT SOFTBALL The 2009 Madison Grant girls’ softball team can be described as the team that put the MG softball program on the map. By winning the school’s first ever state championship title, the Lady Argylls won the 2A softball state finals tournament defeating Linton-Stockton, 1-0. Madison-Grant’s senior pitcher Sara Webster helped lead Madison Grant to the shutout as sophomore Kailey Leckron scored the only run for Madison-Grant when she entered the game as a pinch runner scoring on a single to center field by junior Shelby Wells. The Argylls and 15-year head coach Jay Dunlap finished their season 23-6.
